Launched in 2016, the Queen's College Community Outreach Programme aims to improve the lives of young men in the Queenstown area through sport. Funded by a generous, anonymous QC Old Boy, Queen's Old Boys and Coaches, Kaya Malotana (1994) and Zuko Xoseni (2007) are working with 6 local primary and high schools in Mlungisi and Ezibeleni, offering rugby coaching to students as well as training and development to the teachers.

In addition to identifying talented individuals and bringing them to study and play rugby at QC via bursaries, a new goal for this programme in 2017 is to create a high performance squad of players from the 6 schools, train them and enable them to compete in local and regional fixtures.
