The Queen's Quote

The Quote is the school newspaper, produced once a term. Queenians have the opportunity to get involved as editors, reporters, artists or in managerial positions to compile articles on a variety of topics such as sports, cultural events and human interest. Boys derive great satisfaction from putting together a production that is truly their own. Recently an electronic version of the Quote has been started on Facebook.

CRITERIA FOR AWARDS

As a guideline to achieving awards, points will be awarded as follows.All awards are at the recommendation of the Teacher-in-Charge.

For writing articles for the Queen's Quote (1 point)
Article for the website (2 points)
Article for The Rep (3 points)
Special Events (2 points)

Must be a member of the society
Must take part in at least 3 of the 4 publications
Must attend at least 80% of the meetings
Must have a minimum of 8 points.

Half Colours

Must be an active member of the society for 2 years
Must take part in 4 of the 4 publications per board year.
Must have 16 points based on the above criteria
Must attend 80% of the meetings
